Thinking about posting these shots it occurred to me I may as well just call this blog "Cute pictures of the kid. Dot com." I suppose the thing is though, we go out and he's like "Wow! Check out these leaves! They look like DINOSAURS! And you can kick them!" which is great, and I'm like "Check out the LIGHT! Right, kiddo, stand THERE, just THERE that's right, in the good light. Those trees are going to make some great bokeh. You know what kind of leaf that is? Sycamore. SYCAMORE. Yeah, it DOES look kinda like a dinosaur. One second while I meter off your skin. They're not actaully called Dinosaur Leaves though. SICK-A-MORE. OK. Dinosaur leaves it is."
And that's how we roll. Come to think of it, that's pretty much how we've rolled for the last three years, 10 and half months. Cheers kiddo, you're a great model. And you've taught me a lot about taking pictures. Here's to the next x years until you get annoyed with it and start showing me the hand. I'll probably still take pictures of the hand, just so you know.
ps - I was so pleased with that last shot 'til Richard came in and said "Clockwork Orange". Ha! It is a bit.
